October 4, 2005 ~ Got to see Rob and Ruth and Zoey today! I am so very much enjoying the thought of being a grandma. Ruth
and I got to have a wonderful visit, while Rob and his dad went out for lunch. I got to hold Zoey for quite a while and she
has started laughing, so we got a few laughs in. Veronica also got to hold and feed Zoey. The look on her face was so cute.
She was so in love. Kate was at school but did get to see them for a little while before they had to go.

We are even more blessed now. Rob and Ruth and Zoey have moved in next door. How cool is THAT? They moved in at the end
of October. It has been very nice for us to have them this close. They are a lovely little family and we all get along very
well. Ruth and I have become good friends. We are very much alike in so many ways. We've been asked if we are sisters. Rob
is being a very good daddy and that is so nice to see.

Randy and I have become grandparents... I know, I know... biologically I am too young to be a grandmother, but legally
and emotionally I am. Randy's son Rob, got married to a very nice young lady named Ruth. Ruth has a son from a previous marriage
and his name is Jacob. He is 5 years old. Together, Rob and Ruth, had a baby girl on August 4, 2005. Her name is Zoey. She
is so very cute... I am enjoying this, as is the new grandpa. I have decided that Jacob and Zoey will call me Lola. Since
I am part Filipino, I did some research and found out that the Filipino translation for "grandma" is "lola".
Randy is their Papa.
Kate and Veronica are so enchanted with the fact that they are aunts. Kate has gone to school and announced to everyone
that she has this new position. Veronica had renamed all of her dolls and most of Kate's, so that they are all called Baby
Zoey. Not just Zoey, but BABY Zoey.
Jacob is coming to visit in a couple days and we are all very excited. Katie has been counting down the days. She said
that she knew they would get along because they both like dinosaurs. Sadly, he will only be here for three days, but at least
we have those three days.
